HOLLOWFIELD DEVELOPMENTS LTD.
The client’s brief was to maximize retail on the ground floor and provide offices over. As the site falls within the Architectural Conservation Area of Limerick City Council, the proposal was motivated with a conservation report prepared by Healy Partners Conservation section. The design of the elevation aims to maintain the modular Georgian streetscape by maintaining the typical building width, height and window proportions. The fourth floor is set back and clad in timber to maintain the current height of adjoining buildings. At street level, the retail frontage is glass allowing the maximum frontage and visibility.
