This project involved a 60,000sqft corporate fit-out for Genworth Financial Services @ Building 7000, Westpark, Shannon, Co. Clare.
The high end fit-out works extended over 4 floors. The entry level from the Westpark campus comprises a large staff canteen, coffee area and social space with an innovation centre and printing depot. A new communications and IT hub was provided at a lower basement level. The upper two floors provide large open plan contemporary office space with cellular glass box offices located on internal walls. Shared kitchen spaces introduce vibrant pops of colour on each floor. The open plan space provides fantastic views of nearby Shannon airport. An intelligent blind system functions based on solar gain and glare for the external. All services are exposed where possible creating an industrial aesthetic while taking maximum advantage of floor to ceiling heights. Floating panels above desk spaces carry recessed light tubes.
